博士學位候選人資格考核 Qualification Exam of Doctoral Degree Candidate |
博士學位考試 Oral Defense of Doctoral Degree 完成所有學，總學分數為34/38學分（必修13/17學分、選修21學分）。 Finish all the credits; the total credits are 34/38 (Required 13/17 credits, Selective 21 credits). |

申請期限 Application deadline |
入學後第一學期結束前 Before the first semester finished. |
入學後八學期內（不含休學期間）須通過考核，未通過者，得勒令退學。 From enrollment, before the eighth-semester finish (Not including suspension times) must pass the qualification exam or be withdrawn. |
入學後七學年內（不含保留入學及休學期間） 上學期為10月31日前；下學期為4月30日前 From enrollment, before the seventh academic year finishes (Not including student status retention and suspension times), you must pass the Oral Defense of Doctoral Degree. The Fall Semester deadline is before October 31st The Spring Semester deadline is before April 30th |

由指導教授成立 By thesis advisor to established |
下列擇一： Meeting one of the following requirements:
Research results must publish in the SCI journal in at least 1 article.
Invention patent 1 piece.
Utility model patent 4 pieces. |
符合論文發表等相關規定，由指導教授推薦。 Meets the thesis publication regulations, recommended by the thesis advisor. |

Research results have to publish in the TSSCI、FLI、EconLit、SSCI or SCI journals in at least 2 articles and limit be attach evidence for one student put forward.
Publish journal in 1 article and at home and abroad invention patent 1 piece.
Publish journal in 1 article and at home and abroad utility model patent 4 pieces. |
本國學生須通過下列之一： Taiwan nationals’ students must meet one of the following requirements
IBT-TOEFL 61 points or TOEIC 650 points.
Passed General English Proficiency Test (GEPT) high-intermediate in the first stage.
Participate in the overseas area to present for thesis 2 times in the international workshop of the official language is English. |

備註Remarks： ※研究成果發表（含有正式接受函）期刊論文須為第一作者或通訊作者。 Research results to publish (include had gained formal accepted letter) the journal must be first author or corresponding author. ※研究成果發表若為博士生共同取得則限一位提出申請。 If the journal is the Ph.D. student co-published to published and limit be attaching evidence for one student put forward to apply for the exam. ※就讀博士班以前發表之研究成果，或在博士班內發表與博士學位論文不相關之研究成果均不列入計算。 Published before admission to Ph.D. or publication has no relevance to the research results of the thesis, all not included in the calculation. ※研究生所發表之著作，於註明該研究生所屬單位時，本校需為掛名單位之一。 Regarding Ph.D. students research results to publish, one of identity must show the students from NKUST. (Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology, National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, Kaohsiung (City), Taiwan). |
